best part of my day. snuggle bear.

best part of my day. snuggle bear.

This is my 20 lb. baby hippo of a cat, Franklin D. Roosevelt. He is sleeping with his little kitty paws wrapped around my leg. He’s my snuggle bear deluxe. It makes me smile. He’s all “we aren’t going to move for about five hours, okay human?” Okay, Frank.

Can we just pretend last week (in regard to workouts) didn’t happen? What’s that? Oh. This is my blahhg? Then I CAN DO WHAT I WANT?  Perfect! We aren’t going to talk about last weeks workouts. Just ignore the list below. Hanging my head in shame at myself. No long run again.  In my defense … Continue reading

weekend to remember, 2012.

weekend to remember, 2012.

The title makes it sound like I went to prom over the weekend. You know, I never went to a prom. Homeschoolers don’t typically have them. Plus, I grew up Baptist, and Baptists don’t dance (and no, i’m no longer baptist, whew). Someday I will get a prom dress, put cheesy decorations in my living … Continue reading

best part of my day. balance.

best part of my day. balance.

One thing I have striven to have in my life over the past year and a half is balance. It was something my life was seriously lacking in the past. It made me miserable. Now that I have balance back, I am noticeably happier, less sleepy and overall in better spirits. That doesn’t mean I … Continue reading

Once again I started strong in my running week then fizzled out and took a break from a long run over the weekend. My legs were lead and they hurt (wah wah, i know). But I was also getting a ton of projects done around my house (painting rooms, painting front doors, cleaning up the … Continue reading

number one goal. TBR.

As we enter this phase in our life where we start thinking about surgeries, fertility, how life will change… well, we find ourselves gettin’ shiz done left and right. Marking goals and to-do’s off our long lists is a biggie in our world. I realize we won’t get it all done before we have a … Continue reading

8612 / run notes

Even though I’ve vowed this isn’t a running blahhhhhhg (and it isn’t) as I enter my (hopefully) last season of running not being pregnant and not being a mommy, well… I want to document my workouts for my future self. Something to look back on, and get back to, once I’m chasing an energetic fluffy … Continue reading

best part of my day. squidge.

best part of my day. squidge.

Sometimes we catch Milo laying like this, with just the teensiest squidge of his tongue poking out. For some reason, we in the Robinson household, find this highly entertaining. We giggle. A lot. It’s half creepy, half hilarious.

one step closer.

Baby steps. Yep, first TBR (team baby robinson) post my friends. This has been a rough week for me in regard to infertility. It feels as though there are a lot of wonderful women in my life who are blessed in regard to conceiving. While I am thrilled for my friends, and share in their … Continue reading

starting fresh.

I have been a blogger for a while, I have had a running blog for about four years. I decided it’s time to move on from being “just” a running blogger. I’m just over it honestly, the running blog scene. For a plethora of reasons I won’t get into. Unless you ask, then I’ll spill. … Continue reading
